MEGAMEDIA SERVICES FOR 1 MILLION SUBSCRIBERS
Jakarta, January 31, 2008 – First Media announces commitment to serve one million homes with its “MEGAMEDIA” services in Jabodetabek through its cable and wireless infrastructure, to be completed by 2009. This announcement was delivered today at a press conference in Jakarta.
These Megamedia services reiterate the Lippo Group’s commitment through First Media in building and developing information, communication, entertainment and commerce as integrated in one company. First Media also strengthens its Management Team by recruiting professional experts in the industry.
Megamedia is a convergence of the so-called “Six Cs”: Cable TV (Multi-Channels Interactive Television); Computer (Internet Online Service); Communication (Data Service and Communication); Content (Internet and TV Content); Channels (Own Channel Production); and Commerce (TV Homeshopping and Internet E-Commerce).

First Media also takes this opportunity to implement its 2 in 1 home entertainment by launching a combined product of FastNet (fast-speed Broadband Internet) with HomeCable (Multi channels Pay TV) in one price, which has high value at very competitive prices. HomeCable packages of HomeCable 33, HomeCable 66, HomeCable Ala Carte and Add On were also launched during this event.

FastNet, is a fast speed Broadband Internet that is reliable and “always on”. Users need not use telephone lines in order to access the Internet, and the computer is connected to the Internet on demand. Once the computer is turned on, it will instantly connect to the Internet until it is turned off. There are several attractive packages for FastNet based on the customer’s required speeds, starting from neophytes to advanced users who need greater access for music download, online games and video streaming. FastNet provides unlimited download access from 384 kbps up to 3000 kbps.
HomeCable, HomeCable is First Media's brand for cable TV service offering more than 66 channels broadcasting international and local stations through digital video and stereo audio qualities. Subscribers can choose packages based on particular selections including HomeCable33, HomeCable66, A la carte or Add On. HomeCable also carries 21 radio channels.
