American Ninja Warrior
American Ninja Warrior comes back for an eighth season. Matt Iseman returns as host, along with co-hosts Akbar Gbaja Biamila and Kristine Leahy. The action-packed series follows competitors as they tackle a series of challenging obstacle courses in both city qualifying and city finals rounds across the country. Those who successfully complete the finals course in their designated city move on to the national finals round in Las Vegas, where they face the four-stage course modeled after the famed Mt. Midoriyama course in Japan. Last season, history was made when Isaac Caldiero and Geoff Britten both conquered Mt. Midoriyama - with Isaac Caldiero winning the $1,000,000 grand prize by reaching the top just seconds ahead of Geoff Britten. Yet, for many competitors, the dream lives on, the challenge brings them back once again. Now in its eighth season, American Ninja Warrior continues to pull in competitors from all walks of life. Submissions to be a competitor on American Ninja Warrior are at an all-time high. Viewers tune in to see if anyone can once again conquer the world's toughest obstacle course. American Ninja Warrior 8 begins with the first of the city qualifying rounds in Los Angeles, CA. From there, the show travels to Atlanta, Georgia - the site of the 1996 Olympics, then to the auto-racing mecca - Indianapolis, then to Oklahoma City and Philadelphia. The national finals are once again held in Las Vegas, Nevada. Based on the global hit “Sasuke” from Tokyo Broadcasting System Television, the original series is now in its 32nd season in Japan. The American series is executive produced by A. Smith & Co. Productions founders Arthur Smith and Kent Weed, along with Brian Richardson and Anthony Storm.
